Diabetes can cause circulation and nerve damage, this can lead to serious foot problems and even amputations. Regular foot care by a qualified podiatrist, providing education, screening and treatment, will prevent many of the complications. Our Trust provides specialised footwear for diabetic patients. We have also recently funded a new specialist podiatry couch at the Diabetes Centre in Ashford.
