Supporting people in Kent and Medway living with Diabetes
The Paula Carr Diabetes Trust paid for me and two other nurses to attend the Diabetes UK conference. It was a fantastic opportunity to hear about the latest research, share best practice and network with colleagues.
The Paula Carr Trust funds our DEREK courses for people with Type 2 diabetes, teaching them about the illness and how healthy lifestyles, diet and exercise can make a real difference to their lives.
We have a great time in our training kitchen, which was funded by The Paula Carr Diabetes Trust. It’s a fantastic place where dieticians can work with patients, teaching them that a healthier diet is better for the whole family.
We launched our new patient group thanks to The Paula Carr Diabetes Trust who pay for our venue each time we meet.
We are so lucky to have The Paula Carr Diabetes Trust here in Kent. With their support we are able to trial pioneering new technologies that will make a real difference to the treatment we can offer our patients.
The Paula Carr Diabetes Trust helped us take Max on a Diabetes UK family weekend. Now we all understand diabetes better and have made friends with other children and families too.
