Supporting people in Kent and Medway living with Diabetes
Friends Sara Hopper and Sara Ansell have been supporting the Paula Carr Diabetes Trust again with their yearly sponsored walk around Saltwood, Hythe.
The ladies, who have children with diabetes, called upon friends and family to join them on a gloriously sunny day on October 10th.
This year they have raised over £1,300. Well done team and thank you for your continued support.
In September, Year 6 pupils Florence and her friends Clemmie and Flora presented to the teachers and pupils at Kingsdown and Ringwould Primary School in a hope to gain votes towards their chosen charity – The Paul Carr Diabetes Trust.
After a fantastic presentation highlighting the charity and some of the work we do for children with diabetes the school voted and the girls won!
Not only were the friends given the titles of charity monitors for the year, but Florence was also given a much deserved ‘Teachers Award’ for her presentation and for being a fantastic role model.
The girls were overjoyed and hope to raise lots of money for the charity over the school year.
