The children’s teams from Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust held their annual 6 -2- 7 transition days earlier this month . Lovely days were had by all – lots of fun and laughter with some learning along the way!
The transition days help the children with Type 1 diabetes to gain independence on managing their condition moving from primary to secondary school.
The Paula Carr Diabetes Trust donated ‘goodie bags’ full of useful school items.
